Reference itinerary
8:30AM Depart from Tokyo / (96 km / approx. 90 minutes by car)
10:00AM Arrive at Hakone Shrine & Peace Torii Gate
Early morning photo at lake red torii gate (less crowded). Shrine visit: about 40 mins.
11:00AM Lake Ashi Pirate Ship Cruise
Take retro pirate ship (T-Line, 30 mins) for Mt. Fuji views (weather permitting).
12:00PM Lunch Recommendations
- Café Option: Togendai Station “Terrace”
- Restaurant: Lake Ashi views, Japanese & Western dishes
13:30PM Owakudani (If having lunch in Gora, visit Owakudani last)
Take the ropeway to see volcanic hot springs and try the famous black eggs (approx. 1 hour, note the sulfur smell).
15:00PM Hakone Glass Forest Museum / or Hot Spring Experience
Quick Onsen: Hakone Yumoto “Tenzan Tohjiso”: 1-hr day-use hot spring (parking available)
Alternative: Hakone Open-Air Museum
16:30PM Return Journey (via Gotemba Premium Outlets)
Optional short stop for shopping if time allows.
18:00PM Arrive back in Tokyo or at your designated location
Possible restroom stop at Ebina Service Area (highway rest stop).

Charter Van
- 7 days (18:00) or more before the usage date 0%
- Between 7 days and 3 days (18:00) before the usage date 50%
- 3 days (18:00) or less before the usage date 100%
Charter Bus
- 2 weeks (18:00) or more before the usage date 0%
- Between 2 weeks and 7 days (18:00) before the usage date 50%
- Between 7 days and 3 days (18:00) before the service date 80%
- 3 days (18:00) or less before the service date 100%
Important Notes
- Operating Hours: 10 hours within the operating hours.
- Van: Available from 6:00 AM to 10:00 PM
- Bus: Available from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM
- Vehicle Seats: Van: one child safety seat is provided free of charge. Bus: not available.
- Driver Information: Driver details will be provided one day before departure.
- Pick-up/Drop-off: Outside 23 Tokyo wards: please inquire.
